This was recorded on August 30, 2014. Nui Nui was still shy of 3 years old by about 1 month. I thought it was amazing that she could song every single word of the song, and so clearly too, at what I thought was such a young age. They know, though. Kids know. It doesn't take long and they just learn so fast. Like sponges.

I think I mentioned this before but do you remember Kid Sister and Kid Brother— the toys? They were just these dolls, like Cabbage Patch Kids, I think, I never had one but remember the jingle for their commercials. So funny. There was this young kid prancing around and throwing/catching this kid in the air having the jolliest of times. Anyway, so the song went 'Kid Sister, Kid Sister, wherever I go, she goes...' I modified the song slightly and have sang it enough times to Nui Nui that she picked it up— I don't know why but I find that really fascinating (as if I can sing :>). I even find it fascinating when she can identify things within the same class even though they look different— ie. she can identify all different kinds of birds, understanding they have a head, small body, and wings. Stuff like that. Very interesting.
