I have so many posts I've been meaning to write this week. *sigh* //endcompaint :>
In summary, the major development this week is that we've been starting actual training pants with Nui Nui. Mom tried on Monday during the day and it was a disaster. She found a trail of wet and eventually found a puddle in my closet. Immediately, it was back to diapers. On Tuesday evening, however, I pulled out the training pants after our shower per Nui Nui's request. I think she likes it, to be honest. They probably are a lot more comfortable than diapers.
So I put them on after our shower. Took her to the bathroom before dinner (one hour later), her pants were dry, and she went— sticker! After dinner (one hour later), same thing— sticker! Before bed, same thing— sticker! But then diaper for over night. This happened Tuesday and Wednesday night. I was thinking, ok, I have this... I'll start her just at night and work my way throughout the day.
Tonight was a different story. It was the same up to the point of after dinner. She did earn a sticker after dinner but between that time and getting ready for bed, she just couldn't hold it, I guess. We were in the kitchen and all of a sudden Mom and I look down and Nui Nui is standing there with a stream coming down. Seriously, it looked as if she wasn't wearing pants, it was that fast. I immediately picked her up and told her to stop and ran her to the bathroom. I put her on the pot and she continued to do her duty. It was diaper thereafter.
Back to square one. Back to the drawing board. Honestly, though, my kid's poo and pee doesn't really bother me that much anymore. From the day they are born, day in and day out, it's constant and continual. Five, 10, however many times a day. And they're your kid. Whatever they produce is golden, right?
So anyway. I guess we'll try tomorrow. :>

Target, Forever 21, Lego Store Haul! :>
We went shopping! (surprise, surprise) :>
Below is our haul video and close-up pics of some of the things we bought.
Enjoy! And thanks for reading and watching! :> Don't forget to subscribe to our blog/YouTube channel. Really, it means the world! :>
Some item close-ups!
I started taking out select pieces of the Lego cup I bought Nui Nui but then she ended up dumping out the whole cup. There was really no reason for me NOT to let her play with them all. a) One cup, even large!, doesn't really hold many pieces; b) She gets it. She know what to do with them and is a curious explorer. Who am I to take that away from her? :> Plus, I think she's responsible enough not to eat them :>
Large cup of Legos and Lego base sheet - $14.99 + $4.99
The Leaf Ring from Forever 21 - $3.80
(The Dry-Erase Board from Target! - $1)
The Simple Silver Arc Necklace from Forever 21 - $3.80
The Ring-Bracelet from Forever 21 - $2.80
Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear Nail Polish in White On from Target - $2.89
(The Lego Base Board from the Lego Store - $4.99)
I forgot to film and take pics, but we also bought Nui Nui four pairs of training pants from JCPenney. Mom got her regular underwear too because she couldn't resist how cute they were :> I'll try to post a pick if I get a chance. They were ultra-cheap, something on the order of $7.50 for 4 pairs of training pants, and $7.50 for 8 pairs of undies?
Clearly, we like to shop. My excuse, however, is that I like to walk (ahem, 'be active'— o so healthy! :>) and look at things while I do it... We just get tempted into buying the things we see. In our defense, though, we purchase within reason. Don't we? :>

Camera Pics From July 4th Weekend in LA! :>
We had a great time in LA and I just about finished posting my pics on Instagram of the photos I took from my phone but then I, as I was uploading a new video, I realized I still had a few hidden gems on my actual camera. (Man, I miss high resolution, better quality photos :>).
Below are a collection of the ones I love. If the full album ever finishes uploading, I'll be sure to post the slideshow :> In the meanwhile, below are my hand-picked pics :>
What fun things did you do this weekend? Or, are you still recovering from this epic past July 4th? :> :> Share below! And share any fun pics with me on Instagram or Twitter! We'd love to see them! :> :>

Lucky. Different. Believe.
I just found this while searching for something. Hit a chord. 'Lucky'. To be 'Different'. As I toil over a cover letter, trying to craft my uniqueness into something seemingly desirable... who am I trying to kid? More so, who does this quote really apply? Sure, the one who said it. But who else? I understand and value our differences. blah. blah. blah. Really, I do. But still struggle to come to terms with my own. There are so many ways I wish I weren't different. I'm proud of the 'different' things I've accomplished but ashamed of those very same things at the same time. Seriously, when am I going to get over the fact that I am human and just accept it? Will money, a man, societal milestones do it? It'll be an interesting experiment, I'll tell you that.
We'll be entering a new phase these coming months. I'll stick as close to the positive as I can. Let's just hope we hit a rainbow sooner rather than later.
In the meanwhile, this post isn't a rant. Really :>. 'Nothing but rainbow'... as we run after it. Savor the inspiration (swiped from the Internet) and share yours in the comments, Twitter, and/or Instagram. It would mean the world :>

What's In Our Travel Bag To LA!
We're heading to LA in T minus 1.5 days. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Nui Nui will be going to school tomorrow in lieu of July 4th and I'm crossing my fingers she doesn't catch anything. Luckily, she got through the whole nasty hand-foot-mouth thing that was going around a few weeks ago.
It's funny, too, because I thought I might be the only one. A mom-friend, who we're stoked to be meeting up with said the same thing: 'praying he won't get sick either'. Phew, I thought it was just me. If you're a parent, do you do/hope for the same thing when you're about to go on a trip? Share below, I'd love to hear! :>
So I decided to do a What's In Our Travel Bag, a spin off of a What's In My Purse video. I thought it would be interesting to share what we're bringing on our road trip and compare it for when we go to HK. This road trip will be good practice. I mean, we'll be staying in the US, same state even! And with our car, no less. We can definitely be generous with our things and they definitely have Target, so I think we're all set :> ['Let's just hope we don't get a flat ' ]. I'm ridiculous...
Enjoy and thanks for reading/watching!
So? Did I forget anything? Let me know down below in the comments or tweet me! We still have 1.5 days left to pack! :>
