School Update - Solar System And Chinese New Year! - January 27-31, 2014
Monday's daily board is missing because I wasn't able to pick Nui Nui up from school— I survived my very first night away from her for a business trip. I heard her and Mom had a sleepover blast :>
Half-way into the year and I continue to be impressed with the art/projects these kids do— so enriching! I just hope Nui Nui's education stays like this throughout her school years :>

School Update - Where Did Her Listening Ears Go? - January 13-17, 2014
Looking back, this is when she started getting sick...
On that Friday, Nui Nui didn't respond when asked to sit down for lunch. Her appetite was in decline and I suspect the food wasn't appealing to her. She just stood there— not playing with toys, goofing off, crying, or anything. She just didn't have the words yet to express what she was feeling or needed.
Lesson of the post: Kids go through ups and downs. Illness is and brings out the worst. A couple of bad days doesn't mean demise.
