Baby Girl Headband Crown Of Flowers [KIDSTYLE]

These headbands are adult-sized and too big but I think I liked how these looked vs. a bow, which I tried on her as well.

Boho chic with all her hair :> And the hunt continues... xo

Good Morning Baby! [MOMLIFE]

Two of my favorite things: this outfit-- her coming home one and her sleeper blanket.

Oops! Make that three: this kid.

She wakes up pretty peacefully now. When I woke up this morning, I thought I did before she did because I didn't hear a peep. But, in fact, her eyes were wide open and she was looking around, waiting patiently for me to come over. She probably heard my alarm.

She's the cutest first thing in the morning. I open her up out of her blanket and, like a jack-in-the-box, her arms come flinging out for a stretch. And, because she's had a full night's sleep, her mood is as top-notch as her head of hair :> xo

Girl's Winter Jacket! [KID STYLE]

I debuted this jacket in a previous post a few days ago when it was raining but am showing it again in better lighting-- thank you, sun :>

It's blue, her favorite color with polka dots, and we picked it up end of last season as it was on clearance.

It comes equipped with a generous hood, zipper pockets, and, with most (if not all) H&M kids clothing, a place to write her name-- very nice perk.

The material is slick and can honestly feel cold when it's cold outside but I think the puffiness is what keeps her warm.

What I like about the jacket is that it isn't too short and the material makes it light and feels like it's pretty easy to clean.

So far so good. She's been wearing it daily ever since. xo

New Coat, Big Puddle [KID STYLE]

Nui Nui is a little like me in that it's sometimes hard for her to let go of wearing some of her favorite clothing pieces. But I somehow, without much effort this morning, managed to get her to wear this new jacketthat we got her end of last season on sale/clearance.

When I picked her up from school today, there was this big puddle near our car. (Living in a drought state, yes, that's a BIG puddle ) So, I bit my tongue and not only let but encouraged her to jump in it. You're only a kid once, amiright? xo

Snowless Snow Fox! [KID STYLE]

Though we hail from the east coast, in just a short amount of time, our tolerance for the winter chill has plummeted.

We're not #wearing ski gloves, which I saw someone sporting yesterday :>, but a hat for a toddler wasn't out of line for earlier today. Maybe our tolerance is even worse this year, as our house is so warm because of the baby, but it's been in the 50s here in the west and today Nui Nui looked like a ski bunny (or fox) though there's not a snowflake in sight. xo

No Longer A Newborn! 3 Months Old!! [KID STYLE]

Hard to believe it's been three months since we welcomed our newest warrior. Three months! No longer a newborn, she's getting bigger, more solid, and more able than ever.

It's a little bittersweet, I have to admit. Hiring managers seemed to have slowed down during the holiday season and will hopefully pick up after the new year. So while I got to enjoy these first few months exclusively with the baby, I'm still trying to wrap my head around how it will be as I head back to work, especially this time around as I am exclusively breastfeeding. Every mom I speak to who has done it hates to pump and complains of a decreased supply. Hopefully I'll find something nearby (ideally remote!) with something flexible.

As a graduation from her newborn days and initiation into infanthood, I got her this sherpa vest (I've actually been looking for one for her for a while). It's interesting. This whole outfit that she's wearing is all her own. I thought everything would be hand-me-downs but I've changed as a parent. No onesie sleepers all day every day. Once in a while, especially if it's cold (or if I'm lazy) maybe, otherwise we're keeping it real.

Love this kid. Both my kids. How much we've all grown, together. And how much more we have yet to grow. xo
