I love this time of year. It's probably my favorite. I love the decorations, the holly good cheer, and the excitement that fills the air.
We kicked off this jolly season with epic rainfall. Well, epic for this part of the country anyway. Anything more than 10 drops is pretty epic.
It feels like years since I've seen/felt rain like this (even though I know it's not true) but it's seriously been too long. So long that I can apparently write a lot about it :>
The first thing I told Nui Nui to do this morning was look outside her window and witness this rare wonder.
Before we left the house this morning, she took to her own accord and readily grabbed her umbrella. It's not something I would have thought of myself, considering the distance we'd have to walk outside.
I got Nui Nui this umbrella almost a year ago, for xmas last year, and today was the first time she could legitimately use it. Well, at least for the span of half a small car.
She opened her umbrella all by herself like a pro and walked five steps in the rain like she's been doing it for years. 😂 Too funny. Good times, good memories. Now, just a few hours later, the sun is out and the ground is acting like nothing ever happened. Well, it was nice while it lasted. xo
