New Favorite: Bread Pudding!

I decided to try something new at one of our recent favorite cafes around our new neighborhood. Typically, I go the croissant route but today, I opted for the bread pudding.

Bread pudding is one of those things that can be really interpretive and go any which way. I wanted the kind that wasn't dry and really resembled the moist/wet characteristics that make bread pudding, actually 'pudding'. Heated up, this bread pudding is amazing. It's like a soaked bread custard, which, imho, is an accurate description of what real bread pudding should be. Eggy, soppy, and delicious it was. Nom.

Mom had the morning bun and had some bites of mine. Her response? 'I'm going to get the bread pudding next time.' :>

Me: Me too!

Honestly, I don't know if I've ever had so much enthusiasm in my life :> lmfao.

Walking toward the bagel shop, before ordering, Nui Nui always requests: 'Momma, I want the ones with the little nuts...' [She's referring to the sesame seed variety :> #likegrandmotherlikedaughter]
