Rockin' The Studded Boots! :>

Nui Nui insisted on trying my boots tonight. We finished dinner early, which is always nice, so had some more time to play. We were running around for much of the night.

Latest developments/updates?
She loves me chasing her and her chasing me.
She still loves airplane when I try to do crunches and likes to crawl all over me when I'm on the floor.
She likes to pretend to play the piano.
She's getting good at drawing circles (or ovals, whichever).
She still doesn't know where I am even if I'm standing right in front of her but with a towel on my head.
She still loves choy choy.
She now knows what is and how to say 'wafer' and 'bed sheet'. She's starting to sing along with songs— 'up and down' [Wheels On The Bus]. She continues to learn more and more moves with songs— ie. slamming her high chair tray during this 'honk honk honk' portion of, again, Wheels On The Bus. She's started to discover and like to play hide-and-seek [walking inside my closet].
She loves to climb and stand on things.
She loves jumping and playing on my bed.
She likes to try on my shoes... :> :>

Pigtails On Our Nui Ju! :>

Despite how shoddy my camera is, you can still make out two pig tails :>

I'm not one of those moms who has to have her kid in pig tails or has to cut baby's hair the second it grows out. I think there'll be plenty of that down the line and am enjoying how beautiful, healthy, and undamaged her hair is now. Personally, too, I think putting up your hair too much causes it to weaken and maybe even fall out. Down and natural. That's how I style :>

But Mom got Nui Nui some hair ties and we decided to give it a whirl, or lift :>. Nui Nui's hair is pretty long, already hitting her shoulders. These tails lasted maybe about 5 minutes, if that, after asking for pics :> This was our amusement/highlight of the evening. Exciting stuff going on in Warriorland... :>
