Royal Blue Striped Midi Dress! [FASHION]

This is a bit of a throwback (almost two months)— you can tell because I didn't color my hair yet :>. I filmed a video at the start of the July 4th weekend and took these pics too. I'm still working up the nerve to edit that video of exhaustingly prancing around like a fool :> One of my subscribers requested I do more fashion videos and it's been on my mind since. I heart midi dresses and skirts. For work, they're the best length. They're sleek, professional, form-flattering, and comfortable. I definitely recommend getting ones made of a forgiving material (with a little bit of stretch and wiggle room) :>. A detail I missed when taking these pics is the hole in the lower back. On hot days, you can show a little skin. Other days, you can just wear a tank top underneath to stay covered up.

Regarding accessories, I stuck with the striped theme with both a cuff (heart cuffs!) and ring. My most favorite accessory for the outfit, though, came with a panda face, heart pants, and striped paw-shaped pockets :>

Another Hot Milk Cake! [FOOD+THROWBACK]

Hot Milk Cake is probably our #1 go-to cake. We're not fluffy, crumbly, fine-crumb cake people. We like cakes that are most, hold together, and have real substance. This is a super simple sponge cake from our 70's version of Better Homes and Garden Cookbook that must be consumed with fresh #whippedcream and preferably fruit, like peaches or strawberries.

Life: Two Years Ago Today

Nui Nui is 2 years, 1 month today!

I have still yet to do a 2 year update *sigh* but I was thinking last night I need to get back on the video bandwagon. The memories are fleeting!

Can you believe this is what life looked like just two measly years ago??

Throwback Tuesday! Sleeping Beauty :>

This is why my hard drive died. Because it's hard for me to let go of Nui Nui media :>. I stumbled upon this video when opening Photo Booth today to try to capture Nui Nui's pigtails. (Post to come on that!... or those :>)

Nui Nui was so little! My, how much she's grown. I know I say that all the time but it's true. I openly admit my memory is poor ever since I got pregnant and, sadly, that's true too. I cherish how accessible media is these days. Along with, that I have this beautiful girl in my life :>
