Fleece-Lined Gold-Metallic Moccasins!

Today felt like both Monday and Friday. Either way, I was really missing my kid. Do you know when you miss your kid and you then want to start buying things for them? Yeah, well, that happens to me and retail scored today :>

These moccasins didn't have 1/2 sizes. The 7 looked like it would just fit and therefore wouldn't last long but the size 8 looked like I was nuts buying my 2yo that sized pair. I went with the 8 because my kid deserves nothing less than 2 sizes up (:> inside joke) and thinking I could put socks on her if they were too big...

Size 8! Size 8?! I can't believe they fit! smh. Nui Nui did seem very long, though, when I was changing her this morning on the table... So Too big so too fast...

Funny how her interest in the shoes lasted a split second (she was willing to put them on) but Legos take up more real estate :> #notcomplaining :>

What do you do when you're apart and missing the love of your life?

Franco Sarto's Venezia Shoes

I saw these shoes — Franco Sarto's Venezia— in Macy's many months ago. I stumbled upon them again today and couldn't help but try them on again— they didn't have my size last time. Macy's had the gold version and navy blue one. I like the navy version or the black one (below).

They're just lovely— simple yet unique and the leather is soft. Their vibe is mature, casual, and elegant. I can imagine these shoes to be worn with a collared floral dress a la Michelle Williams, or flowy pants like Nicole Richie in Givenchy, or even with just simple, dark-washed skinny jeans.

Check them out at Shoes.com or your local Macy's.

What shoes have YOU been eyeing lately?

Cute Toddler Mary-Jane Shoes By H&M :>

Behold, Nui Nui's latest pair of shoes...

I've said it before and I continue to say it, but I love H&M for their kid's shoes. They're affordable ($9.95-$12.95), stylish, comfortable, and even have arch support!

Check out Nui Nui's latest kickers— cute, subtly girl-y, and pretty unique. You can see her rocking them in action at her 2-year, well-child, doctor's visit.

What are your favorite shoes (kids or adults)? :>

Shopping On The Ledge :>

We took a relax day because I had a rough week and had to go into the city for dinner. So we went to DSW because a) that, coupled with Barnes, is considered relaxing and b) Mom was looking for a pair of sneakers to go line dancing? :> Nui Nui had a blast running around the store, especially on this spacious ledge overlooking the parking lot and beautiful blue sky. Aside from the wind, it was a gorgeous day :> And relaxing at that :> :> How did you spend this beautiful day? Share below, we'd love to hear! :>
