Starbucks' Almond Croissant Review [FOOD]

This is Starbucks' new almond croissant, which I assume is their attempt to bring La Boulange's to stores. 

It was a nice try and would have been nice to be able to get a La Boulange almond croissant at any Starbucks but unfortunately this isn't one of them.

Not as buttery moist (or heavy), it's dry and lacks the saturated almond topping of the real thing. That said, it's chain-quality and there are worse.

The Biggest Drink Ever At Starbucks!

Apparently there's an off-the-menu cup size you can order at Starbucks. I must've missed the memo because it's been around for almost four years now. It's called the Trenta, and 'Trenta' means more refreshment. (That's really funny). It's 31 oz. of cold beverage brew and an attractive selection for early-rising moms with toddlers on adventure-filled weekends. lmfao.

Here's my friend trying to take a pic of its size compared to her hand. She's really tall though, so I'm not sure if the comparison is that substantial :>

Toddler Haul! Target, Marshalls, Old Navy, Starbucks!

This video was filmed a couple of weeks ago and I'm just getting to it today... #idratherbetoobusy :>

I also just noticed I'm wearing the exact same sweater as I was in the previous haul video. Go figure. When you love to wear something, you love to wear something and it makes it totally worth it :>

So I love watching haul videos despite the weirdness some feel about it. It's not showing off what you got, it's showing others, or highlighting, what's out there. There's a lot of stuff out there and it's hard (or impossible) to plow through it all. Having someone showcase and review products is helpful! :>

This video (or things in it :>) is all for Nui Nui. I went on a spree that day, I felt. But she needed a lot of things, books especially. I used to think I'd just take her to the library and we'd borrow but at this age I really think she needs staple books of her own and I'm all about education :>

Starbucks' Strawberry Cheeks! :>

This post may be temporary. I continue to realize I need a better photo storage system and one that supports slideshows. I couldn't decide which pick to post so I did nearly all. Nui Nui officially now can identify and say Starbucks. I mean, she could some in the past but now it's official, with confidence :> She spots the icon on the cup and store signage and let's me know what she sees :> She said it all over the place when we enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch together. Another development is she can now officially sit across from me and be ok. The things you take for granted... :> She also now has this thing where she takes her index fingers and taps her cheeks and says 'yummy yummy'. I'm on the lookout for YouTube vids to see if she picked it up there... The blueberry patch has gone awry and now she's deliciously enjoying strawberries...

Lasik Sunglasses & A Berry Glazed Donut Bagel!

I went for a free consultation for Lasik. Yeah, I'm still debating whether I should go through with it. The fence has a nice view from here.

The appointment consisted of dialating my eyes. They gave me these funky cool 'glasses' without stems. They came rolled up and stayed on my face my 'pinching'. Really cool idea/invention I must say.



Thereafter we went to Noah's bagels. I wish they still had the Pumpkin Walnut Crunch bagels because those were amazing but lasted for only a short period of time. Now the seasonal flavor is Berry Crunch. I decided to try it because, hey, limited time, right?

What did look like? A mess. What did it taste like? A decadent blueberry glazed donut. Is this what's causing my high LDL?
