Living In (The Same) Color! [MOM STYLE]
The past couple of days, we have been matching! I missed last night's match-- which she purposely chose-- but this was unintentional from the day before.
When you live with the love of your life, it's inevitable you'll find yourselves living in the same color sometimes, amiright? :> Hashtag: twinsies! lmfao. xo

New Red Pajamas! [MOM STYLE]
I finally got myself new pajamas... after about 20 years :> And they're amazing!
I never really thought about pajamas as something to really buy or invest in. I mean, you find something cheap and comfortable and there you've got yourself a pair of pajamas.
But I finally caved after discovering an incredibly comfortable brand called Gilligan & O'Malley at Target. The fabric is SO soft.
When I wore these for the first time last night, Nui Nui was excited to see them. Purely by coincidence, we were all wearing red bottoms-- her, me, and baby E.
Nui Nui's reaction to my outfit: 'Mama, you look like a big raspberry!
Me: Ooh, well, I am sweet!
Nui Nui: I'm gonna eat you up!
I took Nui Nui's hands and danced around with her, laughing that we were like sisters. It's simple moments like these that make me cherish being a mom and sharing fun and happy times together.
Motherhood is grand and what you make of it. And sleepwear will never be the same. I dream of becoming a professional pajama model :> xo

Still Living At Home, Cry For Mama? [MOMLIFE]
Looking forward to this little fact being true for about the next 18 years or so :>
All kidding aside, baby E's cry is beginning to develop. For a while now, she doesn't cry out when she wakes up in the middle of the night (or early morning). Instead, she whimpers until I come and get her.
Today, when I put her in the crib for just a moment, she did the same but the sound she was making was slightly more sophisticated. Her lips started off together, like for an 'm' sound and the actual sound she made with a pout pout face was a drawn out 'meh'. Listen hard enough, you'd think (if you were me :>) that this is the beginning of 'meh meh', or 'mama'. :> xo

Mustard Thick Cardigan And One Happy Baby [STYLE]
Today is baby E's last day of being a newborn!!
These last three months have flown by and we've grown so much in such a short amount of time. So looking forward as we enter this new phase but admit will miss this time she is such an itty bitty.
The key to this happy baby is that she has enough sleep and milk, isn't too hot or cold, and is included in the activity. That is, she doesn't need your full attention per se but wants to be around the chatter, or not alone-- a socialite, if you will.
It's been chilly and gray this past week, even with rain!, so I've been gravitating toward this new mustard-colored sweater a lot lately. I've had my eye on it since summer when I was pregnant. Not only is it warm but it's bright, perfect for a cloudy day but not so much that it's blinding, if you know what I mean.
Catch it quick. I still see it in store for 50% off, and perhaps it's still online.
Cardigans are a fav for me this cold season as I'm exclusively breastfeeding.
What're your current favorite pieces to wear? Share in the Comments, would love to hear! xo

Baby's Cheetah-Velour Outfit Of The Day! [KID STYLE]
We're finally beginning to wear the steals we got from the Black Friday weekend sale.
Target had an awesome clothing, shoes, and accessory sale with everything 40% off so we definitely took advantage of that, especially when it came to getting the baby some clothes.
I'm surprised, though at the same time not surprised, with how few clothing pieces we had for Nui Nui. But I'm a different mom now than back then when I was a new mom. Back then, I found comfort in kimono tops and sleepers. Now, I'm interested in the baby wearing actual clothes during the day. (Not saying it happens all the time but the majority of it :>)
I love this outfit. The pants are velour and blue-- Nui Nui/big sister's favorite color. The top is animal-print, always a personal favorite, and free of any cheesy writing/design. While all for design, if it's cutesy, I'm over it.
Details of the outfit, as always, are below. For more of we got on Black Friday, be sure to check out our haul video on our YouTube Channel, youtube.com/piecesofm. xo

Purrrfect Plaid Baby Outfit! [KID STYLE]
Baby's new clothes from Black Friday have finally been washed and put away. Over these next few months (or however long we can get use out of them :>), she'll be sporting these new threads and I'll hopefully remember to share them with you.
First up:
Baby's onesie is from a Carters three-pack. I'm not a huge fan of the writing, I admit, but it says 'Purrrfect in every way' with a cat. I am a fan that my 4yo toddler was able to read the phrase and we both were a fan of the gold polka dots. I've been a fan of the gold sparkle coupled with red, this year.
The pants are screenprinted cotton plaid made by Target's brand Circo. I love the cuffs at the bottom. If these were fleece or sherpa-lined, they'd be seriously just purrrfect :>
I sat baby up along the grove where the cushions meet on the couch, and am impressed with her sitting power. She's getting stronger and more able by the night :>
More coming your way! xo

Classic Red Plaid Flannel + Red Lips [STYLE]
I did this photoshoot on the first day of fall (September 23) but never got a chance to go through the pics and post it.
I got this flannel at Target (where I got all these pieces are listed at the bottom of the post). As I was walking through the store, I was drawn to a bunch of clothing pieces in the boys section, including this shirt along with a charcoal denim top and some pants. Luckily, I'm pretty petite and can fit in a boys XL :>
This flannel is classic and I can't imagine it ever being outdated. Nui Nui even has this pattern as a jacket but in fleece. It goes well with a dark pair of sunnies as well :> We'll have to rock the red plaid together sometime.
You can't really go wrong with red this time of year. While I'm not a fan of the dropping temps, I'm madly in love with the colors— the leaves, the decorations, and all. What I need to get my hands on now is a good dark red lipstick.
What are you loving this time of year? Share in the Comments below, we'd love to hear! :> xo
