Roadside Bacon Cheese Burgers + Garlic Fries + Iced Tea! [FOOD]

Because we woke up so late this morning, we decided to have a later, heavier lunch and then a lighter dinner. The concept works in theory but what ends up happening is that we tend not to find our hungry by the time we should eat dinner. Anyway, this is what we had. Meh.

imho, it fell somewhere in between fast food and (sit-down, meatier) restaurant-quality. The patty was too undercooked for my liking and ease of food safety— I later realized I wasn't asked how I liked my burger cooked. The cheese was American, though I'm a cheddar girl myself, and the garlic fries lacked any actual bits of garlic— there was just a subtle hue of garlic flavor, I'm guessing infused in the oil.

I know my burgers and fries, and would say I likely will not return. In the least, it was a beautiful day and we got to eat outside :> #seethegoodineveryday

Handless Corn-On-The-Cob Eating + Haricot Verts + Garlic Chicken!

These haricot verts (aka. french beans) were amazeballs. Normally we just have string beans (because they're cheaper) but after having these, I'm not sure I'll go back. The beans took a long time to cook but they were worth it. Don't forget to use garlic— pieces and smashed!

For some reason, this is how Nui Nui eats her corn on the cob... :>

Fryday Night Brewery! Bacon Cheeseburger + Legendary Garlic Fries + Jambalaya Pasta!

Finally covered some new territory last Friday night. It was a pretty warm evening, (we bumped into my future husband :>), and we ended up in a brewery drinking... milk and water :> I love breweries though. Mom ordered a jambalaya pasta (don't ask) and I had a 1/2-pound bacon cheese burger with some legendary garlic fries. First time, perhaps, I've ever had garlic fries and they were bomb. I'll be definitely going back for more.

I heart Fridays— probably my most favorite day of the week. Yes, I still have to wake up early, which I am not a fan but by day's end, you've got the whole weekend ahead of you. O, the potential of sleeping late for the next two days (not a guarantee with a two-year-old but there's potential!) and definitely 24-hour adventure together.

What's your favorite day of the week? And why? Share in the Comments below, we'd love to hear! :> xoxo
