As the fall season (too) rapidly approaches, I'll experiment more with figuring out how to make this with a microwave. I'll update, then, with a recipe post. If you can make oatmeal on the stove, though, just do it! And if during the day just doesn't work, reverse/reorder your meals and have breakfast for dinner :>

Stove-Top, Brown Sugar + Cinnamon, Old-Fashioned Oatmeal! [FOOD]
Instant oatmeal packets. Ok, I get it. You don't always (or ever) have the time or a stove. But, man, I'm telling you, there's nothing like real, stove-top, old-fashioned oatmeal. Typically, I eat it straight-up but I've been recently hankering for the cinnamon-y oatmeal and thought a touch of brown sugar would be nice too. This was amazing and made me realize I should not buy oatmeal packets again. There's just too much 'stuff' (unnecessary ingredients) in them and they just don't taste that great. I do think, though, that toasted, chopped nuts are a plus. I was also thinking a touch of pumpkin would be perfect for the upcoming pumpkin-craze season.
