Supper Club - Kitcho!

We were long overdue for a Supper Club meetup, I thought. I think you can call it (or I can)... burnout? It's been a long week or two and it's just nice to take a break from the routine of the daily grind of the work-week and just chill with friends. New adventures of gud food and gud friends :>

To date, I've been happy with all of our picks. This time we chose Kitcho— japanese— because I wanted to try out this Amazon Local deal. It took a lot for me to get it because I'm always wary about these things but after nearly a week of procrastination (and/or forgetting :>) I purchased the deal within the last few hours. So the deal was spend $15 for $30 'worth' of nom.

I got the beef short ribs and friends got chicken and salmon teriyaki. I was stoked— I mean, beef short ribs? Just those three words combined sounds delicious :> But, unfortunately, I was disappointed with the meal. Super-slow service— the table next to us got their food way before ours despite sitting down after us— and, more disappointingly, the ribs were chewy as heck. Ugh, I don't even want to think about it. How can ribs be chewy? It's like an oxymoron. But no worries. That wasn't the point but that's my mini-review :> #positivethinking

To way make up for it: gud laughs, gud friends, gud times :>

What do you do to break the daily, work-week grind? Comment below, we'd love to hear! :>
