Tips:
One: Use ripened bananas— the sweetness will complement the peanut butter really well. Think of the banana like jam. Also, cut the bananas as pictured. It makes a difference.
Two: Spread the peanut butter immediately after taking the bread out of the toaster. This is probably the most important part. See, peanut butter melts when it's warmed and tastes that much more amazing when it is. If you let the toast sit out for even a minute, it'll cool too much and the peanut butter won't melt. You want this open-faced sandwich to be creamy, sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth.
